91暗网 admissions priority groups

If you鈥檙e putting together your application for 91暗网, you may notice there are different ways people from various backgrounds can seek help with admission. We鈥檙e dedicated to supporting all potential students no matter their background, though we actively encourage some priority groups to apply to 91暗网.

You can receive a maximum of five adjustment points towards your selection rank if you belong to one or more of the following groups:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
  • Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel and reservists
  • Elite athlete students.

Priority group adjustment points are available for all 91暗网 courses, whether you鈥檙e applying through the or directly to 91暗网.

We use your selection rank to assess your eligibility for your 91暗网 course preference. Your selection rank is made up of your most competitive qualification, plus any adjustment factors you鈥檙e eligible for.

Having up to five adjustment points added to your selection rank can help you receive an offer to study for your preferred course, even if you don't quite meet the necessary requirements for entry.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students

If you鈥檙e an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student, you don鈥檛 need to apply to be considered for priority group adjustment points.

Adjustment points will be automatically added to your selection rank if you鈥檝e identified as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student in your university application.

Australian Defence Force and Army Reserve students

If you鈥檙e a member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) or the Australian Army Reserve, you鈥檒l need to provide our Admissions team with evidence of your ADF experience or status as an Army Reservist in addition to your university application.

Elite athletes

Elite athletes

If you鈥檙e a student who has participated in sport at an elite national or international level, you can apply for priority group adjustment points.

To be considered, you鈥檒l need to provide our Admissions team with a supporting letter from your relevant sporting body confirming your participation, and additionally provide a statement confirming how your sporting commitments have affected your studies in Years 11 and 12 (and/or the qualification being used for admission purposes). Either the letter or the statement should confirm the hours per week on average spent on training and competing.
